Complex AI algorithms perform best with abundant data in stable contexts, while human intelligence excels in uncertainty. AI's role in uncertain times stems from its data utilization to reduce uncertainty and its complementarity with human intelligence. This necessitates reflecting on AI’s opportunities, risks, and responsibilities. The JuLIA project at the University of Trento's Faculty of Law focuses on AI's impact on fundamental rights, balancing innovation and rights protection.
