As part of the European JuLIA project (Justice, Fundamental Rights and Artificial Intelligence), we invite you to join our interactive Justice Lab webinar aimed at fostering dialogue between judges, researchers and experts on the legal challenges posed by artificial intelligence.
The Justice Lab: Artificial Intelligence, Privacy and Personal Data Protection, organised by the Institute of Legal Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences within the framework of the JuLIA Project, is addressed primarily to judges and focuses on regulatory and judicial issues related to the use of AI systems that process personal data or support automated decision-making.
Particular attention will be given to questions of compliance with the GDPR, transparency and explainability of AI systems, accountability, and the role of courts in reviewing AI-based decisions affecting individuals’ rights.
A key element of the Justice Lab format will be a case-based discussion, allowing participants to analyse practical legal problems arising from the use of high-risk AI systems and to exchange experiences from judicial practice.
The webinar will take place online on 4 December 2025 and will be conducted entirely in Polish. We are confident that the participation of justice professionals will enrich the discussion and contribute to a better understanding of the judicial challenges related to artificial intelligence and data protection.
