Aline Klingenberg

Aline Klingenberg is a Professor of Educational Innovation, Data Sharing and Communication Law at the Law Faculty of Groningen University. Her main areas of expertise include public law, privacy and data protection. In her dissertation Aline has looked at the public law aspects of electronic government communication. In her teaching, Aline focusses on fundamental rights such as privacy and freedom of speech. She is one of the applicants and researchers of the SMILES consortium (on smart mobility and logistics). Aline is also an Editorial Board member of the Dutch journal on jurisprudence on protection of personal data (‘Jurisprudentie Bescherming Persoonsgegevens’).
